Beautiful meadows and rock & roll
Yvonne and Chris tied the knot at Crockwell Farm back in the July of 2017. They had chosen Crockwell Farm in Northamptonshire as their venue for a relaxed and elegant affair, but there was always going to be a bit of a sing-a-long too… the groom brought his band along to properly celebrate his newly wed status. I was delighted to be there, along with Mike Gerrard, to photograph the couple’s celebrations!
Crockwell Farm was a perfect spot to host this gorgeous and relaxed wedding. Yvonne and Chris were happy to go with the flow of the day and just wanted their guests to enjoy the wedding with them. They were always smiling and simply having fun which made photographing them and their guests a real joy. The atmosphere was so relaxed and content that not even the splattering of rain was going to ruin it.
Thoughtful details
Yvonne and Chris’s thoughtful details and personal touches were evident in every aspect of their day. The Bride’s stunning, lace and satin wedding dress was even hand made by her mother. It was gorgeous! Their guests were able to play with the lawn games which had been moved undercover due to a sprinkling of rain. It didn’t stop the competition at the coconut shy though. Music was important to these two and their guests were also treated to a quartet playing throughout the drinks reception which added to the relaxed, content atmosphere surrounding the bride and groom. The evening entertainment, however, was livelier and just as enjoyable, especially when Chris decided to sing with the band. A treat for his bride and guests!
Yvonne and Chris really made their wedding their own. They enjoyed it and that was evident to see and a pleasure to capture on camera for them. Congratulations to them both!
