Hello! I’m Alex, a documentary wedding photographer based in Essex, just outside London. I began photographing weddings all over the UK, and further afield, after having a light bulb moment in 2014 in Berlin. I was there with some friends, happily snapping away and being the designated “memory keeper” for our group. I loved that thought, that I was capturing those moments for us all to look back on and reminisce about, and a little idea started to form in my head, “what a cool job that would be?” Little did she know at the time, but giving me that title sparked a whole chain of events that has led to where I am today, so danke, Heather!

I have a documentary approach to photography and I truly feel that this is the best way to be able to record and remember your wedding day. It allows me to show the essence of you and your connection, without interrupting you or your guests. Many years of studying Art means considering the composition of your photographs is something that is just now ingrained in me. This results in beautiful, honest and emotive images of you and your love and that, for me, is what it’s all about.
