Vintage buses, Islington Town Hall and The Depot N7 came together perfectly for Ellie and Adam’s London wedding — a day that blended elegance with fun and felt effortlessly joyful from start to finish.

Their guests gathered for the ceremony at Islington Town Hall before boarding a classic vintage London bus and heading off to The Depot N7, confetti at the ready, to await the newlyweds’ arrival.

The day began with Ellie getting ready alongside her bridal party — including the couple’s gorgeous baby girl — not far from the Town Hall. The morning felt relaxed and unhurried, with plenty of excitement building as everyone prepared for the celebrations ahead. Ellie looked beautiful in her simple, elegant gown from Heart Aflutter Bridal Boutique, finished perfectly by Charlie Mac Hair & Makeup. Once ready, it was a short walk to the Town Hall, where guests had already begun to arrive and Adam was waiting for his bride.

Islington Town Hall is such a striking London wedding venue, with its rich dark wood panelling and iconic red carpet. That said, Ellie and Adam were undoubtedly the highlight as they exchanged vows and became husband and wife.

Now, I love confetti — and Ellie and Adam very clearly do too. They chose to have it twice. The first was on the steps of Islington Town Hall as they exited as newlyweds. The second came later, after travelling in true London style aboard a vintage Routemaster bus, when they arrived at The Depot N7 to be greeted by smiling faces and generous handfuls of confetti from their guests.

The Depot N7 looked beautiful, styled with delicate flowers and foliage by Nice Bunch, which added softness and elegance to the relaxed industrial space. Guests mingled in the courtyard, enjoying champagne and delicious canapés, and the atmosphere was full of warmth and happiness. That feeling carried through the rest of the day and into the evening celebrations.

Ellie set the tone with a heartfelt speech, raising the bar for those that followed. Family and friends shared stories, laughter and words filled with love for the couple, making it such a joy to capture those moments as they unfolded. The entire day felt like a true celebration — relaxed, stylish and centred around Ellie and Adam enjoying time with the people who matter most to them.
