Vintage buses, Islington Town Hall and The Depot N7 made for a rather wonderful London wedding, as Ellie & Adam proved! Their day was filled with elegance and fun as they celebrated with friends and family. Their guests attended the ceremony at  Islington Town Hall, then boarded a vintage London bus and headed to The Depot N7.  They awaited the newlyweds arrival, confetti in hand and at the ready!
The day began with Ellie and her bridal party, including the couple’s gorgeous baby girl, getting ready together not too far away from Islington Town Hall. The morning was lovely and relaxed with everyone looking forward to the day ahead. Once ready, with Ellie in her beautifully simple and elegant gown, from Heart Aflutter Bridal Boutique, and looking even more gorgeous, thanks to Charlie Mac Hair & Makeup, it was a short walk down to the Town Hall where guests had started to arrive and where Adam was waiting for his stunning bride. Islington Town Hall is such a striking venue for a London wedding, with its rich dark wooden panels and iconic red carpet, but Ellie & Adam where definitely the most striking feature as they said their wedding vows and became husband and wife.
Now, I love confetti, and was so happy to hear that Ellie & Adam felt the same way! They decided to do it twice, the first time being on the steps as they left Islington Town Hall as husband and wife. The second time was as they arrived at The Depot N7. This was after travelling in true London style, on an old Routemaster bus. They were greeted by their waiting guests with beaming smiles and handfuls of confetti!
The Depot N7 looked beautiful as it had been adorned with the most gorgeous flowers and foliage, by Nice Bunch. These delicate flowers added to the elegance of this relaxed London wedding venue. Once they had all arrived, guests where able to mingle and enjoy the champagne and delicious canapés in the courtyard. It was so lovely to capture such happiness all around. This continued throughout the day and into the evening celebrations. Ellie began by setting the bar high for everyone to follow with her heartfelt speech. They didn’t disappoint as each person contributed with their stories and words of warmth and the love they felt for Ellie & Adam. The whole day was one of love and celebration as Ellie & Adam where able to enjoy the company of their closest friends and family in a relaxed and stylish way.
Kind words
Ellie & Adam
