I love micro weddings and I love The Old Marylebone Town Hall. It turns out, I am not the only one! Lucy and George decided that they wanted a small and intimate wedding to celebrate with close friends and family and that is exactly what they did. Their guests witnessed their ceremony in the beautiful Knightsbridge Room at The Old Marylebone Town Hall, before enjoying a charming evening of delicious Italian food and drinks at the nearby Italian Greyhound.
It was a wonderful day and a pleasure to capture. There was so much fun and laughter as Lucy and George enjoyed the company of their nearest and dearest. They opted not to have speeches and instead they spent their reception chatting to everyone. One of the benefits of smaller, more intimate celebrations is the ability to just relax and take your time seeing those you’ve chosen to have with you on your day.
I was really pleased that Lucy, George and I ventured off for some more couple portraits in the beautiful surrounding streets before joining everyone for the private reception at The Italian Greyhound. We made the most of the vintage wedding car whilst we kept an eye out for the perfect backdrop to their couple portraits and had some admiring onlookers too. I have to admit that I was a little obsessed with Lucy’s dress and veil from Pronovias – just so pretty and elegant – so more couple shots were a bonus!
A truly beautiful day spent at two wonderful venues and with wonderful people.
