Old Marylebone Town Hall & The Italian Greyhound

 

I love micro weddings, and I love Old Marylebone Town Hall. It turns out I’m not the only one. Lucy and George knew they wanted a small, intimate wedding in London, celebrating with their closest friends and family — and that’s exactly what they created.

Their ceremony took place in the beautiful Knightsbridge Room at Old Marylebone Town Hall, a light-filled and elegant space that felt perfectly suited to their relaxed celebration. Afterwards, guests made their way to the nearby Italian Greyhound for an evening of delicious Italian food, drinks, and easy conversation.

It was such a lovely day to photograph. There was so much laughter and warmth as Lucy and George enjoyed spending real, unrushed time with the people they love most. They chose not to have formal speeches, instead using the reception as a chance to chat, catch up, and truly soak in the moment — one of the many joys of smaller, more intimate weddings.

Before joining everyone at the reception, Lucy, George and I wandered through the surrounding streets for a few relaxed couple portraits. We made the most of their vintage wedding car and kept an eye out for beautiful backdrops along the way, drawing a few admiring glances as we went. I have to admit, I was a little obsessed with Lucy’s dress and veil from Pronovias — so timeless and elegant — which made those extra portrait moments even more special.

A truly beautiful day, spent across two wonderful venues and surrounded by wonderful people.
