Tilini and Daniel wanted to get married in London and they chose the iconic Islington Town Hall to host their ceremony with their closest friends and family who came along for the weekend. They opted for Room 99 at Islington Town Hall which is one of the smaller ceremony spaces that they offer. It is a beautiful, intimate and elegant room which worked perfectly for Tilini and Daniel’s ceremony. The muted decor especially helped to highlight Tilini’s gorgeous red dress too.
Guests began arriving outside the Town Hall and there was a chance for Daniel to greet everyone and calm his nerves before they headed in to find their seats. Daniel and Tilini had decided they wanted to have a first look before they walked down the aisle together, so Daniel waited in anticipation to see Tilini for the first time in all her gorgeousness. It was a really lovely moment that they shared, just the two of them, before heading in to get married.
The ceremony itself was lovely and filled with laughter which is always a joy to capture. There were many heartfelt moments too and it was lovely to see how happy Tilini and Daniel were, but also all of their friends and family. After such a beautiful ceremony, the whole group started the journey to The Narrowboat, which was a lovely walk on a sunny day. We stopped along the way for some group and couple portraits at Compton Terrace Gardens, a lovely little green nearby.
Once we arrived at The Narrowboat, there was a round of Aperol Spritz for everyone to toast the happy couple whilst enjoying the private space downstairs, overlooking the canal. It was a really lovely, relaxed London wedding which everyone enjoyed and it was a pleasure to capture such love and happiness for Tilini and Daniel.
