A Micro Wedding at Beautiful Clissold House
The gorgeous Clissold House, situated in Clissold Park in Hackney, is a wonderful grade II listed building and makes for a beautiful ceremony venue, especially if you’re thinking of having a more intimate wedding. Lydia and Clément decided this was the perfect place for them to tie the knot and brought a handful of close family along with them to witness their touching ceremony.
It was a really lovely union with a few special details. One of which was Lydia’s decision to recite her vows in French, for Clément, and you didn’t need to understand the language to see how much love they have. It was also a nice thought to have a few moments during the ceremony where each family member wished them luck and advice for the future, which Lydia and Clément soaked in and enjoyed.
The beautiful house was also a perfect backdrop for some group and couple portraits of the wedding party. It was a busy summer day but I feel this added to the joyous energy of the wedding and there were some lovely spots to photograph.
Lydia and Clément had also arranged for a private dinner at the nearby Portland restaurant, where everyone could enjoy the Michelin star food and wine whilst celebrating these two wonderful people and their perfect wedding day.
