Amber and Leo had their micro wedding ceremony at Danson House, which is surrounded by beautiful gardens and overlooks Danson Lake. The picturesque setting is the perfect place for this amazing villa to be situated and it makes for a very pretty ceremony venue. The house has many rooms to choose from and they all have their own unique appeal. Amber and Leo decided to have their ceremony in the grand Dinning Room, which is able to accommodate 65 guests, and is an ornate room filled with paintings and gold decoration. It was a beautiful space to be married in and although rich in decoration, the large bay windows let in so much light that the room was bright and airy – perfect for their photos.
The ceremony itself was very touching and it was lovely to see how much Amber and Leo wanted to make this commitment to each other. There were some lovely moments shared between them throughout the ceremony, with family and friends supporting alongside them. Once they had tied the knot, Amber and Leo left Danson House and were ready for their take on the confetti shot – bubbles! Danson House doesn’t allow for the traditional confetti to be used, but bubbles are a great alternative. Some of my couples have used ribbons before too which all work beautifully!
There are really pretty areas that are great for photos in Danson Park. We chose to have some group and couple portraits taken in the English Garden which is just opposite the villa. There were so many colourful flowers and lovely green areas to use as backdrops for Amber and Leo’s photos – we were spoilt!
