A Fun, Modern London Wedding at Old Marylebone Town Hall & The Harcourt
Adèle and Lewis’ London wedding was an absolute joy to photograph — a day full of emotion, colour, and so much genuine fun. From the very start, it felt relaxed and deeply personal, with thoughtful moments woven throughout.
I met Adèle and her bridal party at Chateau Denmark, London, where they had stayed the night before. The celebrations began early as everyone got ready together, before hopping into a taxi to head over to Old Marylebone Town Hall. While the bridal party joined guests inside, Adèle popped across the road to the pub to meet her dad — before the two of them reappeared in her dad’s classic sports car. An arrival in true style.
The ceremony took place in Old Marylebone Town Hall’s Westminster Suite, the largest of their ceremony rooms and one of the most striking. With its rich wood-panelled walls and floor-to-ceiling windows, the space feels grand yet warm — an atmosphere that photographs beautifully. Surrounded by friends and family, Lewis greeted guests while waiting for Adèle to walk down the aisle. The ceremony was heartfelt and emotional, but filled with laughter too — a perfect reflection of the two of them.
After the ceremony, Adèle and Lewis exited the Westminster Suite and Old Marylebone Town Hall in a joyful shower of brightly coloured confetti, enthusiastically thrown by their loved ones. We captured a few relaxed group photographs on the steps before taking some time for couple portraits — their first moments together as husband and wife.
Rather than heading straight to the reception with all their guests, Adèle and Lewis chose to enjoy a more intimate wedding breakfast upstairs at The Harcourt, shared with their immediate family and closest friends. (Their two dachshunds had already made an appearance outside — always a highlight.) It was a lovely, calm pause in the day before the celebrations continued downstairs in the evening, where the dance floor quickly filled and the party truly began. There was cake, there was dancing, and there were two dresses — perfect for a night of celebrating in style.
It was such a pleasure capturing Adèle and Lewis’ wedding day — a day full of love, laughter, and meaningful moments. Congratulations to you both.
